Company History

EMC
is neither a trucking company nor a national solid waste removal company.
Yet, EMC services its customer base with the same scope as the national
companies, managing the removal of construction debris, solid waste,
equipment purchases including custom design installations, and the initiation
of company wide recycling program's throughout the New England, New
York and Midwest markets. Over thirty years of experience and
expertise in this industry has incorporated EMC, as a major player within
the complex world of solid waste and recycling. Our management service
association with companies such as Macy's, Staples and Dick's Sporting Goods across the country as stated by our customer base. EMC has become an "invaluable commodity
in significantly reducing solid waste removal costs, increasing recycling
revenues and overall improvement of service standards." EMC continually
strives to offer our customer base a personal commitment, ensuring a
total service package that all locations, big or small, are esthetically
serviced on an "as needed" on-call basis. EMC's programs success
ratio is based on the initiation of in-house management programs utilizing
the services from the majority of solid waste haulers, independent or

Our Services
Monthly
personal visits by our in-house represtatives who travel from one
location to another twelve months per year, coupled with a twenty four/seven
[24/7] hour phone line guarantees our customers base service when they
require it, "on-call" without the use of schedules. Also,
with the implementation of EMC's tonnage ranking report, tonnage weights
have increased dramatically and actual hauls to the disposal facilities
have decreased showing significant savings overall.
EMC
focuses on providing cost effective solutions for labor and process
needs to the retail distribution industry. EMC is intent on building
an initial suite of desired services, from which we will build a fuller
offering that encompasses virtually all of the non-core functions necessary
to run retail distribution facilities. Examples of the initial suite
of services, along with their definitions, include:
Resource Recovery Management
Waste Management
Document Management
While each of the above tasks appears to be different in scope, there are
two common threads among them:
[1.] They are highly structured and repetitive - Each of these
tasks is a stretched function, meaning there is a finite definition
to what each task is supposed to accomplish. Additionally, they are
repetitive, each function is done the same way, over and over again,
typically every day, sometimes multiple times per day.
[2.] Each task is a management headache for the site management team
- While each of these functions is necessary to make sure the operations
continue to function, they are not core to the management team's goals.
They are more distractions than anything, and take away from the time
the team should be focused on increasing sales goals.

new "Dock Sweep" program to big retailers such as Dick's
Sporting Goods, [Staples, Macy's] who now can receive a daily service
designed to collect all of their stores waste and recycling material
at their loading docks in one clean sweep. EMC will schedule trucks
for the removal of recyclable materials such as catalogs, flyers, mixed
paper, loose and baled cardboard, plastic shrink wrap, all wood pallets,
light iron and scrap metal from your stores loading dock. Now your store
can take advantage of huge savings and keep your valuable material from
ending up in your store dumpsters.
